Article I Name
The name of the organization shall be known as “The Federation of Asia Print Exhibitions”, hereinafter called “ASIA PRINT”.
Article II Purposes
The objective of “Asia Print” is to exchange ideas, to promote cooperation between members, and to support each other in the process of organizing print exhibitions. The final aim of the Federation is to promote the development of printing, printing equipment and printing material industries in member countries.
Article III Membership
1. Any member of the Federation must be an organizer or supporter of international printing exhibitions in their country, and must be a national printing association or an exhibition company of their country;
2. The international printing exhibition organized by the member of the Federation should be the biggest and most famous in their country,and must be organized,or co-organized, or endorsed by the national printing association; The exhibition must have been held more than three editions consecutively.
3. Members must to support mutually when recruiting exhibitors for up-mentioned exhibitions, and give the most favorable treatment mutually. The preferential treatment to ASIA PRINT member should not be lower than the treatment to agents of its own country.
4. Requests for membership must be submitted in writing to the Secretary General of the Federation. Each new applicant will officially become a member of the Federation after approval by the members’ meeting. In the event of refusal, the Federation is not required to state reasons;
5. The member of the Federation who has attended the founding work of the Federation and signed the Constitution of the Federation of Print Exhibitions shall be recognized as a founding member of the Federation;
6. Any member must accept the Constitution of the Federation of Print Exhibitions.
Article IV Officers
1. The founding members constitute the guiding committee of the Federation;
2. The Federation shall elect a President and two Vice Presidents from the delegates of active members who must be present at the last three consecutive general meetings of the Federation as officers to work for a term of two years. The President and Vice Presidents of the Federation must be from different national delegations at any one time. The President must be a chief executive officer of a member. The President and Vice Presidents are eligible for re-election of another term of 2 years after which there must be a gap of one term, before they can be qualify for election again.
3. The member who is entrusted to organize the member meeting in their country is responsible for organizing the members meeting.
4. The President guides the Secretary General for the preparation of the member meeting, emcees the member meeting, and convenes the meeting of guiding committee to decide the program of the member meeting;
5. The Secretary General organizes and leads the Secretariat to plan, prepare and make all necessary arrangements for the member meeting.
Article V Member Meeting
A quorum of majority of the membership is necessary to conduct the member meeting. The member meeting takes place once a year and deals with:
1. To exchange information relating to the industries of printing, printing equipment, printing material, and printing exhibitions;
2. To discuss how to support each other in organizing printing exhibitions which must be not more than one time for one country over a period of one year;
To discuss other matters related to mutual support;
4. To approve new members;
To decide on date and venue of next member meeting, and to entrust the holding and organization of the meeting as approved during the meeting to the host country;
Any decision shall requires the approval of two-thirds (2/3) votes approval of all members present at the meeting;
7. The official languages of the member meeting are English and the national language of the country that the meeting is held in. Participants shall make their own arrangement if an interpreter is required.
Article VI Observers
In order to absorb more printing organizations to support and join the activities of Asia Print, Asia Print decides to accept observers. The required conditions for the observers are as follows:
1. The observer should support the activities of Asia Print, support the printing shows held by Asia Print members and can not support the printing shows which compete with the printing shows held by Asia Print members.
2. The observer must be a legal printing organization duly registered in their respective country.
3. The observer can only be recommended by one existing member of Asia Print.
4. The observer should put forward a written application of one’s own accord
5. The application should be passed with the consent of at least 2/3 of the total members of Asia Print.
Article VII Funding & Financing
1. The organizing member of the member meeting shall underwrite all expenses for Secretariat and planning, rental of venue, refreshments, etc. All other members would pay for all own expenses inclusive of air fare, accommodation, transport, etc.;
2. For financing special actions and projects, the Federation may require the collection of reasonable contributions to be determined by the member meeting from each member, with the majority votes.
3. The President, the Vice Presidents, and the Secretary General shall have no pay from the Federation.
Article VIII Resignations and Exclusions
1. Withdrawal can take place at any time. It does not relieve the withdrawing member from any possible financial obligations owed the Federation which was contracted before the declaration of withdrawal;
2. Member can be automatically terminated by not attending three consecutive meetings.

Article X Amendments
Any proposed amendment to this constitution shall be submitted in writing to the secretary general at least 60 days before the annual meeting of “ASIA PRINT” copies of which shall be circulated among the members for study and recommendation during its annual meeting. It will required ¾ members of “ASIA PRINT” votes to approved the amendment and declared ratified and adopted.

DECLARATION
The 1st Member Congress of the Federation of Asia Print Exhibitions (ASIA PRINT) was held on May 14th of 2009 at Beijing Friendship Hotel and the Constitution of ASIA PRINT was signed consentaneously. It was declared that ASIA PRINT was founded officially. ASIA PRINT is an international cooperation organization attended by Asian countries spontaneously. The objective of ASIA PRINT is to promote printing cooperation between members, support each other in the process of organizing printing exhibitions,win and develop with mutual benefit. Every member of ASIA PRINT abides by the Constitution of Asia Print firmly, fulfills the obligations, enjoys the rights, and safeguards the common interests of the Federation. ASIA PRINT will admit new members into the Federation which must accord with the demands of the Constitution of ASIA PRINT. ASIA PRINT is willing to communicate and cooperate with all related international organizations.

1. The 1st preliminary meeting of the Federation of Asia Print Exhibitions (ASIA PRINT) was held in Malaysia in 2007.
2. The 2nd preliminary meeting of Asia Print was held in Korea on Sept. 26th, 2008. The constitution of Asia Print was initiated at the meeting.
3. The 1st Member Congress of the Federation of Asia Print was held in the afternoon of May 14th, 2009 at Beijing Friendship Hotel, China. The congress approved the Declaration of the Establishment of Asia Print, the signing ceremony of the Constitution of Asia Print was held and the Foundation of Asia Print was announced officially.
